I am from Abingdon, Va. and current resident of Blacksburg, Va. I have a deep passion for the Appalachian mountain region, its people and communities, and their traditions that make it special. Engaging community members in public design is a central component to how I approach projects as their involvement brings added value to the design process.
On a personal level, I enjoy craft-based hobbies. Among others, I am an avid woodworker, photographer, BBQ cooker, and beekeeper. Life is better in the outdoors.
